What This Is (and isn't yet)
Sezzy's House is a home in the making — a slow clothing brand, and a place to keep the things worth passing down.
The clothes aren't here yet. They're being made properly: slowly, built to be worn for years and then handed down, not thrown away.
What we're building alongside them is the Almanac — a living archive of the passed-down. Recipes, remedies, superstitions, the stories nobody else wrote down.
No new-for-the-sake-of-new. No rush.

Every piece is made in a small run, meant to age with you like the crewneck you found in the back of your dad's closet.

How the House Started
You are standing at the door of Sezzy's House — my childhood home.
I was Canadian-born, with roots in the Czech Republic. Raised among the seashells of southern American beaches and a little Czech town singing with church bells.
Growing up between two places, I started noticing how much we quietly lose. The recipes my grandmother never wrote down. The woodworking trade my grandfather didn't pass down. The family stories that are "too shameful" to share — the ones that only exist if someone remembers to tell them. Instead, we inherit and keep the things that hold feelings within them: the sweatshirt you stole from your crush, the love letters your grandmother wrote, your dad's rugby shirts, your mother's favorite books.
The ordinary things are the ones worth keeping — that's the whole idea. Sezzy's House is my way of holding onto them, and building a place where other people can too.
There's nothing to buy yet. Right now it's just a door and a light on behind it. If any of this sounds like your kind of thing, come stand on the porch with me while I build the rest.
The quiet has a lot to say, if you know how to listen. This is where I'm going to write it down.
Because I've always been someone who keeps things — letters from childhood friends, a sweatshirt from a first love, the clothes my mom wore when she was my age. Sezzy's House is built from that instinct: clothing made well, in small numbers, meant to be lived in and passed down.

Privacy
Sezzy's House is a small, personal project, and I treat your details the way I'd want mine treated — carefully, and only for what you signed up for.
What I collect
When you join, I collect your first name and email address — nothing more. There's no hidden tracking.
Why I collect it
So I can write to you: the occasional letter as Sezzy's House grows. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining — and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who helps me send it
Emails are sent through Kit, which stores your name and email securely so I can write to you. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Both act only as service providers on my behalf and don't use your details for their own marketing.
Cookies & tracking
Sezzy's House does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there are no third-party analytics following you around. The site keeps one small, functional note in your browser to remember whether you've already seen the welcome window — that's it. Because of this, there's no cookie banner to click through.
Fonts
The fonts are hosted on this site itself, so simply visiting doesn't send your information to any outside font service.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email — instantly and forever.
- You can ask me to show, correct, or delete the details I hold about you.
